Citizen Participation Strategies
for Municipal Planning in Vermont

The Citizen Participation Strategies for Municipal Planning in Vermont series is a collection of factsheets covering several citizen participation tools and techniques for use by:
  • local land use officials
  • land use staff
  • other community leaders and groups
This factsheet series covers five types of participation activity. Each factsheet gives a brief overview of its activity, compares it to the others in the series, and points the reader in the direction of further resources.

These factsheets were developed by the UVM Center for Rural Studies and published by University of Vermont Extension (FS 176: 1-6).
